The water project in the village of Nobandane allowed the church to plant a garden plot. They have already produced their first crop of bissap or hibiscus flower. It is used to produce bissap juice which is the national drink of Senegal. The plant/juice is known to have many health benefits.
With the proceeds from the sale of their first crop, the church of Nobandane purchased 2 goats. They will either raise them and sell them or keep them and use the milk to drink/sell. They will plant another crop so the gift of water just keeps giving and helping the church to prosper. Thank you partners!
